Organizational Principles

The Convention committee has set forth certain organisational principles for the Convention, which are as follows:

Videoclips

  • To avoid interruptions and preserve a reverent and spiritual atmosphere during services, we will allocate 10 minutes for mission video clips before and after services. CREDO is an exception. They are filming the Convention program free of charge and thus will be able to present their video clip during offering time. 
  • Missions, schools or organizations promoting different projects may present a single video clip, free of charge, no longer than 2 minutes.
  • Missions desiring to have a longer video presentation (a maximum of 4 minutes), will receive also a presentation table/booth for displaying various materials, and must submit a check of $500 with the video clip. This donation helps cover the cost of renting the video equipment.
  • Video clips exceeding the length of time specified above will not be taken into consideration.
  • Clips must be submitted no later than August 30, 2009 for the purpose of verifying and preparing the actual sequence of videos.
  • Video clips brought at the Convention, after the established deadline, will not be accepted under any circumstance.
  • Clips will be randomly arranged in showing order. Choices are not available as to the place and day of actual presentation.
  • In order to avoid any uncomfortable situations during service by having offerings for some missions, while not for others, we offer the possibility for every mission to rent a booth where they may display materials and receive voluntary donations. 

Rental Space

  • Organizers will make available areas for presentation, or booths, which can be rented by missions for distribution of materials and donations. These 8-ft tables will be available in designated hallways.
  • Attached is a sketch with numerical tables from which one can chose as their booth. Please reserve your space A.S.A.P. to ensure you get the space desired.
  • As of now, the following tables have already been reserved: 1, 2, 20, 13, 19, 26, 33, 34, 7, 25, 30, 8, 27.
  • A table is considered reserved the moment in which the check is received for the sum specified.
  • Prices differ from location to location, varying from $300 - $500. Prices are negotiable only for Service Packages. There is also the possibility of renting half a table for the fixed price of $150.
  • Service Package Prices:
    • A small advertisement in the Bulletin + video clip + table = $600
    • Half a page advertisement + table   OR   A video clip + table = $500
